20 August 1999 Danielle (Boyd) Harlow ('96)

Danielle visited at VU briefly with her husband, Lyle Harlow. After teaching at the University of Arizona she resigned her position since she and Lyle were accepted into the Peace Corps. They leave for East Africa in early autumn where she will teach physics and Lyle will be teaching mathematics.

Danielle and Lyle were married on 15 May 1999 after which they drove to Maine (from San Diego, CA) up along the cost to Vancouver, BC, across Canada to Maine. They worked as the outdoor living instructors at a summer camp. On the way back across the US, they stopped at VU for a pleasant visit. We will see how soon they are able to establish an e-mail connection from Africa.
