17 September 1999 Dirk Busse ('95)

Dirk and his wife, Leanna, paid a surprise visit on Friday, 17 September and Monday, 20 September. Dirk works for Siemens Corporation and is currently living in Munich, Germany. There Leanna teaches Engligh to business people, a job very much in demand in nearly every non-English speaking country. They lived in China for at least a year previously where Dirk worked in Siemans Asian branches. Dirk's position is essentially what he had hoped for: a blend of solid technology and a people-centered responsibility in relation to Siemens customers. The field in which he works is distributed wireless telephone communications with primary geographic focus in Asia. Dirk speculates that he and Leanna will return to China one day to work there for Siemans - and perhaps come back to the US.
