I am a technology transfer agent at the Indianapolis Center for Advanced Research as a physicist in the unit known as Aerospace Research Applications Center (ARAC). Here, I locate new technologies in response to clients' requests. My work then is similar to what is is now, conducting searches of databases to find new technologies for transfer to individuals and companies.
After graduation from VU, I went to Purdue U. and got a masters in physics. It was my physics background that attracted the interest of the director of ARAC. He needed someone who could handle computers and was knowledgeable in a wide range of physical science and engineering disciplines. Thus started my career in technology transfer.
