27 September 1999 Jason Hayward ('99)

I finished training for Naval Officers in late July after a month off. Following this training, my new wife, Shannon, and I moved down to Charleston, SC. We've been here now for a few months, and we found a suitable apartment to live in.

After a few weeks here, I reported into work, but I found out that my security clearance had not come through yet. It still hasn't come through. Until it comes through, I cannot start the training I need in nuclear power and in instructing. Once I get clearance, I will train for four months, then I will begin teaching physics to enlisted students here.
