1 October 1999 Kristi Keller ('87)
I have been a graduate student at the University of Minnesota on a Ph.D. program in physics, doing computer simulations in space physics. After graduating from VU I got a M.S. in mathematics from Rutgers University. I worked for the Department of Defense at Leavenworth, KS. I was a project manager for military computer simulations.
In my spare moments, I enjoy karate, fencing, listening to Beethoven, watching baseball and soccer, going to plays and the opera, and reading.
I think the department prepared me very well for graduate school in physics. And, perhaps one of the most important things that I learned at VU was that there doesn't have to be a conflict between science and religion.
