24 September 1999 Ron Kneusel ('88)

My current job title is "computer programmer", though that has little to do with my job! I do data analysis, etc. working with a group of doctors studying breast cancer treatment. Simultaneously, I am a biophysics graduate student at the Medical College of Wisconsin working towards a PhD degree specializing in functional magnetic resonance imaging. Most of my paying work involves data management and statistical analysis. It also gives me the free time I need to pursue my degree.

Functional MRI is a blend of physics, computer programming and some each of biology, physiology, and chemistry. A physics background with computer programming skills is ideal. The other stuff can be learned "on the job".

My wife and I live in the Milwaukee, WI area with our four children: David, Peter, Paul and Monica.
