The Dept. of Physics and Astronomy at Valparaiso University invites applications for a sabbatical leave replacement position for the 2005-06 academic year. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in physics, and have a strong interest in teaching undergraduate physics. Some teaching experience is preferred. Valparaiso is a highly regarded private university with 3000 undergraduates and is located 50 miles SE of Chicago. The Department consists of seven full-time faculty. Candidates should be willing to work in a scholarly community committed to Christian higher education and the Lutheran tradition. Salary will be based upon experience.
