The physics major and the physics and astronomy courses

The baccalaureate degree requirements in the College of Arts and Sciences

  • Of particular interest are the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree and the Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree requirements. (You will find these as you scroll down. They are in this order, with other degree options interspersed.) Most physics majors graduate with a B.S.degree. The differences are modest, but one significant difference is that the B.A. degree includes a foreign language requirement while the B.S. degree does not.
