This is the first year in recent memory that all of the May graduates will be off to graduate school. Four students graduated from VU on Sunday, 20 May 2001 on a bright, sunny, pleasant day in Valparaiso. Christopher Hoffmann will be pursuing his studies in physics at Northern Illinois University. Justin Lowry is off to the University of Illinois at Champagne-Urbana to study astronomy. Lisa Neef will be in residence at the University of Toronto where she will be studying atmospheric physics. And Jon Thoms will be traveling to Boston, MA where he will be study physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
