Prof. Brian Pickett joined our faculty for the 1999-2000 academic year during Prof. Hrivnak's leave. Prof. Pickett comes from the NASA Ames Laboratory in Berkeley, CA. His field is theoretical astrophysics, focusing on star formation and the origin of solar systems. He and his wife live now in Chicago where she is at the University of Chicago.
