First Class of NSF STEP Students in the MSEED Program Arrives
This fall, the first cohort of 8 students following an innovative academic program at Valparaiso University to become middle and high school math and science teachers arrived on campus. The program, sponsored by a 5-year grant from the National Science Foundation with additional contributions from Valparaiso University, hopes to address the national need for well-trained and highly qualified math and science teachers while increasing interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
